Match the product before the version
Start from a trusted publisher or store record rather than an APK filename. Compare the developer name, package identifier and signer. If a page changes the product name halfway through, sends you through several unrelated domains or asks for account access before showing basic file information, stop.
Keep Master and Gold in separate records. A support answer or release note for one app does not automatically apply to the other. Similar cards and colours are generic design choices, not a technical relationship.
Check the features you actually need
| Reason for searching | Check first | Safer next step |
|---|---|---|
| Familiar table layout | Publisher settings and UI notices | Ask if a supported layout option exists |
| Phone feels slow | Storage, OS and crash details | Use the compatibility checklist |
| Login stopped working | Service status and recovery channel | Contact genuine app support |
| An old feature disappeared | Publisher release notes | Confirm whether the feature still exists on the server |
An old screenshot cannot prove that a feature still runs. Online features can be changed or removed without altering the file stored on your phone.
Recognise misleading archive claims
- “100% safe” without a clear test scope or provenance is not a useful guarantee.
- A release date without a version code and source does not establish authenticity.
- “Works on every Android phone” ignores Android versions, CPU support and server changes.
- A promise of cash rewards or unlimited currency is not evidence of a legitimate historical build.
Choose a next step
For practical device checks, read Android compatibility. To compare what older and supported releases can mean, use old versus new. The download centre shows the current package-verification status rather than a fabricated version list.
